Hello again with another intermediate turn pattern. This move is very commonly used and it’s easy to lead and follow. At the some time it looks and feels like it flows so take it and use it as much as you can. I am now thinking you should be able to pick up some things without them being broken down in much detail. Timing in salsa dancing is probably one of the most if not THE most important thing. I realized that I haven’t done a lesson on how to find that “one” when we dance salsa on 1, so even though I should have done this lesson in the beginning I thought better now than never. Watch this video carefully and practice finding the “one” in the music because remember: you may know all the moves in the world but without good timing (especially for you leads), your partner won’t enjoy dancing with you!

I have received several requests for more lessons in styling and this video is giving you exactly this; shines and styling. Shines are steps or footwork that you need to know when your partner lets you go for a little while. This is a pretty fun move for both leads and followers. It breaks the traditional pattern of ladies footwork and it adds a little styling to your salsa dance.
