This is our beginner Hip Hop Class working it out once again to one of the never-ending line of hot tracks from Pitbull. The choreography is a mixture of the Hip Hop, African, and Salsa styles that drive the Miami dance scene. We had a great time making and learning this dance. It was super popular with our students and YOU all have made it one of our MOST popular videos ever!

Souldancing Shanghai Salsa Dance Class with Cirque Du Soleil

Souldancing Studio was selected to teach salsa to the Cirque Du Soleil artists during their stay in Shanghai!

Of course we were very happy with the chance to meet and teach such great artists! And obviously they were learning much faster than your average student Usually we only had to show them a move once or twice and they were able to repeat it instantly…

Classes took place over two months and they made much progress. It was really sad to say goodbye to these amazing guys and girls…

Here is a video of June and Volker teaching them in one of their first lessons. You can see the tall black guy who was the hero of their last show, QUIDAM.
