It’s Cuban style salsa. That’s how it’s done. I’m not sure about the 4,5,6 (It should be 5,6,7). Unlike LA Style, Cuban style basic footwork mirrors each other with the partner, which is why she goes forward when he does.

I love your videos! …
I love your videos! You were such great influence to dancing Salsa. I did realize that this is Cuban Style Salsa, rueda, casino and unfortunately people in this area dance ON1 and ON2. Nevertheless i love Cuban Salsa, love the patterns and the hand patterns. In fact in one my videos I used the “Kentucky” it is fair to say that people should first learn about the different styles of dancing.
