If the studio has a dance floor that might be damaged by rubber soles, then they should tell you in advance of you arriving at class. I might be concerned about using rubber soles because you will put extra stress on your knees which can be damaged by turning your body, but having your foot stuck. I might suggest that you investigate jazz shoes that have an unfinished sole, and will allow spins easily, but prevent slipping. You should also get a good shoe brush from the place that you buy your shoes and keep the soles clean.
