Video Tutorial – Salsa: Lesson 1/12 Warm up Program – Salsa is a very energetic Latin dance. Lots of fun, complete with spins, sharp movement, and crisp turns.
Salsa is originally Cuban with deep Afro-Caribbean beats, and additional musical influences from Son, Guaguancó, Rumba. This dance is also similar to Mambo in that both have a pattern of six steps danced over eight counts of music.
Salsa is normally a partner dance, although there are recognized solo forms, line dancing (suelta), and Rueda de Casino where groups of couples exchange partners in a circle.
The name “salsa” is the Spanish word for sauce, connoting, in American Spanish, a spicy flavor. Salsa also suggests a “mixture” of ingredients.
It’s a great dance to learn if you want to break into the latin club scene all over the world!

Hello again with another intermediate turn pattern. This move is very commonly used and it’s easy to lead and follow. At the some time it looks and feels like it flows so take it and use it as much as you can. I am now thinking you should be able to pick up some things without them being broken down in much detail.
