This week things are getting a little more advanced. We are learning the very commonly used copa. We will begin with a one hand copa and next week we will learn another way to lead the same move.

I recently initiated an experiment to see whether people with Parkinsons might be able to dance to Salsa music, and whether this might be beneficial to their health. The introduction was such a success that my dance teacher Morry Crispijn of dance school Salsa Ventura in the Hague has offered to do a full 8 week course. Also, reaserchers of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam are now studying the results
